In the week before Christmas, Hamburg’s Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe (MKG) is launching an unusual exhibition: from 21 December 2011 everything there will be revolving around Udo Lindenberg. The MKG regards the German “Panic Rocker” as a Gesamtkunstwerk (synthesis of the arts) consisting of Rock’n’Roll, poetry, coolness, painting and contemporary history, and offers some surprising insights into an unusual artist's life – and the recent German past (until March 11, 2012).
